Bentsai B71/B71X: Non-Contact Printing with Instant Scan-to-Print

2026-06-27

The Bentsai B71/B71X handheld inkjet printer introduces a new approach to industrial handheld coding by removing the limitations of traditional devices. Conventional handheld printers rely on an encoder wheel that must roll across the surface to print, which often causes smearing on flexible films and unstable results on curved or uneven materials. The B71 series eliminates this issue entirely with its true non-contact printing, allowing the printhead to mark cartons, films, bottles, and metal parts cleanly from a short distance. This is especially valuable for small-size items where traditional handheld printers simply do not have enough space to roll their encoder wheel.

With non-contact printing, operators gain far more freedom. Soft packaging no longer wrinkles under pressure, curved objects stay steady, and coated surfaces can be printed without worrying about shape or texture. For factories and warehouses handling diverse materials, this flexibility improves both speed and consistency.

The B71S and B71XS models add another major advantage: Scan-to-Print. Operators can scan an existing barcode or QR code and instantly print a duplicate—no retyping, no manual reconstruction. This dramatically improves accuracy and efficiency in pallet repair, warehouse relabeling, and logistics workflows where fast, error-free coding is essential.

Despite its compact size, the B71/B71X delivers industrial-grade results. The 4.3-inch touchscreen enables editing without a computer, and its water-based and solvent-based inks support printing on cardboard, plastic, metal, glass, and coated surfaces. With up to 600 dpi resolution, codes remain sharp and reliably scannable.
